All Saints Anglican Church

A family to grow in

Welcome to All Saints

We are in exciting times! As I watch Murray and Fey start to tick off their long list of things to do before they go away, and imagine that Phil and Becky are doing the same, I realise that by February this church is going to look different. The absence of these families will affect us all in one way or another, but with communication the way it is we will be able to keep in touch with them. Please find ways to encourage and support Phil and Becky and Murray and Fey as they take on this huge next step in their lives.

This leads to the process for appointing a replacement Associate Priest for the parish. We are well underway in consulting over and developing a job description for the position, and shortly it will be advertised locally as well as in various publications that will allow it to be seen in wider circles. We are not looking for a Murray clone (in truth there’s no way we could find someone the same.)

Of course, we’re looking for someone who will bring heaps of competence, godliness and skills, and as Murray has, bring their own flavour to add to the All Saints mix. There has already been interest expressed in the position, and I’m confident that we will be able to select from a quality group of applicants. Practically speaking, we aim to interview in October.

One person has stepped forward with interest and clearly evident skills for the Coordinator role for Loaves and Fishes, and we will be taking that process further in the next weeks. We’ll keep you posted on this.

God bless,

Jackie
