All Saints’ membership includes many senior citizens and they play an active role in church life. Many are involved in ministries and there are a number of special events and activities organised especially for them. Each year we have a ‘Mid-Winter Christmas dinner which is well attended and in the Spring there is an outing to a local restaurant. Our Pastoral Care coordinator ensures that seniors who are suffering from ill health are visited and offered prayer and communion. There are also funds available to help with winter heating bills. The church operates a freezer which is used to store pre cooked meals. These are offered to families or individuals who may be ill and unable to prepare food. We are also able to offer food parcels for those who are finding it hard to make ends meet. |
